Frequently Asked Questions

If you are covered under Medicare Part B, patients are typically responsible for 20% of the cost of care.

For private pay clients, our rate is $200 for an initial eval session and then $150 per hour following the first visit. If you have commercial insurance, your costs will depend on your specific plan, copays, and deductibles. Before therapy begins, we'll verify your benefits and provide you with a Good Faith Estimate so you know exactly what to expect.

Instead of going to a clinic, high quality therapists come directly to your home or public setting of your choosing. Please be advised, some insurance plans require service to be provided in the home only.

In Kansas, we provide service to all parts of Johnson & Wyandotte County, in additions to some portions of Leavenworth County. In Missouri, we provide service to all parts of Jackson County, in additions to some portions of Cass, Clay & Platte Counties. Complete our contact form and we'll reach out regarding availability in your area.

In most cases, no — you can start physical, occupational, or speech therapy without a referral in both Kansas and Missouri. Sometimes, insurance (including Medicare) requires your doctor to sign the plan of care, and in Kansas, occupational therapy may need a referral if progress stalls. If a referral is ever needed, we’ll let you know and help coordinate it with your doctor.

We accept Medicare Part B and are in the process of contracting with major commercial insurers such as UnitedHealthcare, Aetna/CVS, Humana, and Blue Cross Blue Shield. We also offer private pay options for clients who prefer to pay directly or whose insurance is not yet accepted.

No! Unlike traditional home health under Medicare Part A, our services are billed under Medicare Part B and do not require you to be home-bound. You simply need to have a medical need for therapy and prefer the convenience of care delivered in your home.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, healthcare providers must give patients who don't have insurance or who choose not to use insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services.

-You will receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing before your therapy begins.
-The estimate will include the costs of your evaluation and recommended treatment sessions.
-If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
-Make sure you save a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
